Good location, and there are a number of local pubs and restaurants with 'Big Tesco' just over the road. The facilities are kept to a good standard with a variety of options room wise. There's 3 communal areas with a TV room, a quiet reading room, and a games area that has a pool table (£1 a game) and table football. The food was good for what we needed, and the selection was enough to keep our pupils happy. A prayer room was available for our pupils as well as classrooms, and the self-catering kitchen was fit for purpose.

We stayed in a private room and thought highly of the experience. The location is convenient, near the station, in a quiet spot. The room was small, with a bunk bed. It was warm and the toilets and showers were conveniently located. Everything was clean and the staff was very helpful. You could order a choice of breakfast, continental or full English. We got one each and were satisfied. Nothing was a problem, for instance extra duvets which as it turned out, we didn't need. The only problem with the room was the tiny green alarm light in the ceiling which was disturbing at night. Next time we will know to have these eye-flaps with us.

One of my favourite YHA locations, everytime I visit I notice little improvements, new extractors in kitchen this time . Fantastic location, well equipped kitchen, comfy sofas easy access with public transport. As always great staff a pleasure to visit well done Amy, Mike, David and team.

Tesco with in yards, safe car park. Secure entrance close to town. Everything u could want. Very helpful staff kitchen facilities v good. Would deffo stay again. Took train and bus to Holt and another to Cromer lots to see and do all ages. Took walks from Hostel very good directions

Great room 200% value for money and excellent breakfast. Very clean room and washroom. Safe car park. 10 munites walk to the beach. I'm more than happy to stay with YHA again.I have made another booking on next week. Very friendly staff. |Thank you again.

I thought I'd read a few of the low star ratings for a giggle before writing this after our excellent weekend at Sandringham YHA. My favourite comment was it felt like a backpackers hostel. I think the clue is in the name. If you want a hotel, or an ensuite room, or a gym and pool maybe look elsewhere, but for a cost effective place to stay, in a great location, where the staff are very friendly and helpful, the beds are fine to sleep in, and they provide a decent meal at the beginning and end of the day, this is for you or your group. We came with 4 adults and 15 young people for the weekend and the place was great for us. A few minutes walk from the town and the sea, and easy to access the beauty, and in our case, the rugby clubs of the north of Norfolk. We had use of a classroom to entertain the lads in the evenings too. Thank you for having us. Hope the lads didn't make too much noise. Them being there was the only reason I didn't sleep great.

Great reception when we arrived,came with an extra person but was charged no extra cost as wed booked a room big enough,you wouldn't get that at Travelodge!. The hostel in general looked clean and tidy as were our room and beds. Great location, Sheringham isn't very big so you're no more than 15 minutes from anywhere in town. Good car park.

Staff are excellent. The hostel is always clean with a nice, safe, relaxed atmosphere. Within walking distance of the village centre and beach. Great location for visiting wonderful beaches such as Wells-Next-the-Sea and National Trust properties.
